FAQ

How do you ship the orders?

We focus on sustainability when shipping our products. We only use environmentally friendly and recyclable materials for packaging our products. We also take care to reduce the material consumption to a minimum. But to make sure that the soaps arrive at your home undamaged, we can't completely do that without packaging.

Why do you produce the products in Morocco?

The central ingredients of our soaps come from Morocco. For this reason, we have come to the conclusion that production should also take place locally. Especially the aspect of social responsibility moved us to this production site. Because the raw materials are not simply exported, but processed on site, the entire value chain remains in Morocco. The local population thus benefits not only from the extraction of the raw materials, but also from the processing.

What payment options do you offer?

You can pay by credit card (AMEX, Visa, Mastercard), Apple Payor PayPal.

Do you offer free shipping?

From a value of goods of CHF 70.00 the shipping is free.

Why do your soaps not foam more?

So-called "surfactants" are responsible for the formation of foam. These surfactants can be produced from different raw materials. Conventional shampoos often use classic surfactants such as sodium laureth sulfate or sodium lauryl sulfate, which are produced from petroleum. These two agents are very aggressive and can cause irritation. For this reason we use natural surfactants for our soaps.

Natural surfactants as we use them in our soaps are gentler to skin and hair. As a rule, they lather less, but this has no influenceon the cleaning power of the soap [1].

What is the pH value?

The pH value indicates the level of acidity of a liquid. The scale of the pH value goes from 0 to 14. Liquids with a pH value of 7, such as clean water, are called neutral. Liquids with a value of less than 7 are called acids, and liquids with a pH value of more than 7 are called bases or alkalis.

Why is the pH value of your soaps so high?

Since the pH of human skin is 5.5, many people believe that a high pH is harmful and dries out the skin. However, this is a misconception. Alkaline soaps, which include our soaps, help the skin to deacidify and renew itself. In addition, a high pH value neutralizes itself very quickly when washing [2].
