All our soaps are made from 100% natural and sustainable raw materials. We pay special attention to the quality and purity of our raw materials.
An important ingredient of our soaps is argan oil, which is excellent for body care. Due to its special properties it is considered one of the most precious and exclusive oils in the world. The oil is extracted from the seeds of the fruit of the Argan tree. The Arganbaum prospers world-wide exclusively in the southwestern part of Morocco and is a firm component of the Moroccan everyday life. In the personal hygiene Arganöl offers many advantages. Its maintaining effect on hair and skin is proven by numerous scientific studies. Thus Arganöl can prevent dry and brittle hair and make it smooth. Argan oil also moisturizes the skin and protects it from drying out. The high vitamin E content also serves as a natural sun protection factor [1].
In the following video from BusinessInsider about argan oil you can learn more about the extraction and the advantages of this extraordinary oil.
The central component of every solid soap is animal or vegetable fats, such as lard, coconut fat, palm oil or olive oil, which are saponified. Since we produce vegan and environmentally friendly soaps, we consistently avoid animal fats and palm oil. For our soaps we mainly use saponified olive oil (Sodium Olivate), which is extracted and processed like the Argan oil in Morocco. By the way, also the red clay, which is responsible for the color of our shampoo block, comes from Morocco.
Because the ingredients of our soaps are mostly from Morocco, the soaps are also produced locally. You will find more information in the next section.
